Why is Breakout so important to Baltimore's Gifted? Fresh after the uprising when this was just an idea, no one cared! That's right! Almost no one in my home city thought I was serious and offered little assistance. Then this guy Michael Farber calls me and ask if I want to speak on the Uprising panel. I said sure. On that panel was the police commissioner, director of parks and people and a few other prominent folks. They didn't seem to interested in my solution but Breakout members were. I wasn't ready for the outpouring of support from total strangers.... Why is Breakout so important to Baltimore's Gifted? Fresh after the uprising when this was just an idea, no one cared!
