FAQ'S

Q: Is Baltimore's Gifted for serious youth artist only?

A: No! The goal of Baltimore's Gifted is not to create career artist. That’s unrealistic and defeats the mission! Whether the child has a serious career interest in art of just loves to create masterpieces in their spare time, they are encouraged to submit. Whether you have dozens of great art pieces or just one, it has value.

Q: What if I can't design apparel & accessories?

That's our job! All youth have to do is submit and we'll take care of the rest. We will take professional quality pictures to turn into great looking apparel & accessories.

Q: Why does Baltimore's Gifted take a commission

A: The founder had the noble idea of letting the artist take 100% of net sales profit! As noble as that is, it’s not reasonable or sustainable :( . There are minimum operating cost associated with maintaining the website and essentially running a business that provides professional services to participants. Baltimore's Gifted retains 20% to help cover the minimum operating cost. Compare that to other youth art organizations that keep 100% of sales from youth art!
